Discipline and integrity form the backbone of the learning environment at Ganapathy College of Education. All students are expected to uphold the dignity of the institution through responsible behavior, punctuality, and adherence to academic and moral standards. The following rules and regulations are mandatory for all enrolled students:

📚 Academic Discipline

Students must attend all classes, practicals, seminars, and activities regularly and punctually.
A minimum of 85% attendance in each subject is compulsory to appear for university examinations.
Malpractice in internal or external examinations will lead to disciplinary action, including disqualification.

🧑‍🏫 Classroom Conduct

Maintain silence and decorum during lectures and academic sessions.
Mobile phones must be switched off or in silent mode inside the classroom.
Active participation, respect for faculty, and attentiveness are expected at all times.

👕 Dress Code

Students must follow a modest and neat dress code appropriate for a teacher-training institution.
Specific uniforms (if applicable) must be worn on designated days, including during school internships.

🚫 Prohibited Activities

Ragging, harassment, or any form of bullying is strictly prohibited and punishable under the Anti-Ragging Act.
Smoking, alcohol consumption, or substance abuse within the campus is strictly banned.
Damage to college property or facilities will attract penalties and compensation charges.

🧾 Use of College Property

Library books, lab equipment, and digital tools must be handled responsibly.
Loss or damage to any item will require replacement or payment.
Students must return all materials before leaving or withdrawing from the college.

🗓️ Leave Policy

Leave of absence must be requested in writing and approved by the Principal.
Medical leave must be supported by a valid medical certificate.
Prolonged absence without permission will lead to removal from the rolls.

📣 General Behavior

Maintain politeness, respect, and humility in all interactions—on or off-campus.
Participation in college events, functions, and academic programs is mandatory.
Use of social media or external communication platforms to defame the college will result in legal action.
