At Ganapathy College of Education, we aim to maintain clarity and fairness in all academic and administrative processes, including student withdrawals. The following policy outlines the procedures and conditions applicable if a student wishes to withdraw admission or discontinue from the course.

🔸 Withdrawal Before Course Commencement
- If a candidate wishes to withdraw before the commencement of classes, a written request must be submitted to the Principal.
- The request must include valid reasons and original fee receipt.
- In such cases, only a partial refund may be processed after deducting administrative charges, as per college norms.
🔸 Withdrawal After Course Commencement
- If withdrawal is requested after classes begin, no refund of tuition fees will be provided.
- The student must pay the full fee for the current academic year, regardless of attendance.
- Original certificates submitted at the time of admission will be returned only after settlement of all dues.
🔸 Mid-Course Discontinuation
- Students wishing to discontinue in the middle of the course must Submit a formal discontinuation letter countersigned by parent/guardian.
- Pay the fees due for the entire academic year.
- No Transfer Certificate (TC) or Conduct Certificate will be issued until dues are cleared.
🔸 Documents Required for Withdrawal
- Written request for withdrawal (with reason)
- Parent/guardian’s signature
- Original fee receipt
- ID card (if issued)
⚠️ Important Guidelines
- No verbal communication will be accepted as a formal withdrawal.
- Refund and certificate return will be processed only upon clearance from accounts and library departments.
- Management reserves the right to modify the withdrawal policy in accordance with university and government regulations.
